The historic Galaxidi is known as mansion, graphic and proud. Its situation is strategic, because it can watch all the Krisean Gulf and a serious part of Corinthean Gulf. Located at the west side of the Krisean Gulf and has 1400 inhabitants.

The naval city of Galaxidi is travelling us at the past. Its history starts 4.000 years ago and culminates in the Greek Revolution of 1821. Before the steam navigation, its sailboats were some of the most powerful of the world. Galaxidi was the first naval force of Europe. All of these years several concuerors were masters of Galaxidi, such us Slavs, Franks, Catalans, Knights of Rhodes and finally, Turkish. Despite all these raids, Galaxidi stayed alive and today, is one of the best resorts in Greece and the nearest seaside resort of Athens.
